Hello! As you can see, the website has had a big update today! We’re working on a redesign, but for the meantime you can check out the following updated pages:

  1. Press — lots of new press bits for you to check out!
  2. Shop — now including Here. In My Head. #7 and #8.
  3. Live — I’m performing at the Swansea Feminist Network Music Fundraiser on 29th July in The Garage, Uplands! Proceeds will be donated to The Women’s Centre. Please spread the word and get as many of your friends to come - it's all for a good cause remember! I’ll be bringing a few copies of my EP if anyone is interested in buying one on the night, as well as a couple of zines – come down, it looks set to be a great night! The free single has arrived!

You can download Gimme a Cure FOR FREE at Bandcamp – go do it now, and spread the word! I’ve set up a “name your price” option, so you can donate as much or as little as you want to help me fund the recording of the rest of the album. I own the copyright to the song, so if you guys want to make copies of the song or broadcast the song publicly (e.g. online) please get in touch first – I won’t say no, but I just need to know! If in doubt, just gimme an email or a message on Twitter.

Next week the second song of the free single will be up for download: I Miss You!

In other news, I’ve donated a pile of my zines and EPs to Hadass Ben-Ari, editor of Israel-based feminist zine Fallopian Falafel, for the grrrlVIRUS sale “Crafts for a Cause“. All proceeds will be donated to the Jerusalem Rape Crisis Center. If you’re interested in donating, get in touch with Hadass at fallopian_falafelATgmailDOTcom!

March 2010
I have some exciting news to share - in the first two weeks of July, I will be recording the album Wednesday's Child in Leeds! I'll be recording on an actual grand piano too, which is very exciting indeed, and will provide a much better sound than that of the EP. My sound engineer and hubby Mr. Hank has found some excellent session players to help out on the album, and they have also agreed to play a few full-band gigs with me in Leeds over the summer! We're hoping to do a few more gigs in Leeds next year too, depending on how busy we all are.

When I come back to Wales in mid-July, I am hoping to play a load of solo piano gigs with my good friend Daniel Karl Morgan, a well-known singer/songwriter in our area. I'd like to set up a 'merch' table to sell our CDs and some of my zines at a few of the solo gigs too - I'll let you know which ones. Keep your eyes open for gig updates - I'll be spreading the word on MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, the 'Live' page on this site, and my blog. :)

August 2009
Okay. It's finally finished.

My debut 5-track demo, the Not Sorry EP, is now available to buy on the shop page and my MySpace page. It's been a weird, formative experience, but I'm happy with the result. Buy a copy and I'll love you forever. :)

Hey everyone!

My first official studio release, Not Sorry E.P., is due to be released during August 2009. It features 5 brand new songs, which will be available for everyone to listen to on MySpace in a few weeks.

Keep your eyes open for more news on that, and be sure to get in touch if you would like to reserve a copy.
